The setting of the Printer: -

1. Attach the Bluetooth unit to the printer and also ensure that the Canon printer is turned on before usage.

2. Now find the Bluetooth settings on the LCD screen of the printer. If Bluetooth settings do not appear on the screen, then it might be possible that the Bluetooth unit is not attached properly. You have to remove it and then attach it again.

3. After clicking on the Bluetooth settings your device name will appear on the screen and you have to select it.

4. Now it is also very necessary to register the printer as a Bluetooth device. Also, don’t forget to write down the device name because it is very important.

5. Also keep in mind that if multiple printer units of the same name are connected to the system, then it is helpful to assign a different device name to each of the printers it will help in the easy identification.

Registration of the Printer: -

1. First there is a Bluetooth icon on the menu bar and you have to click on it. Then you will find Setup Bluetooth Device and select it.

2. Then a popup will appear and you have to click continue on it.

3. Then you have to find your device name and click OK on it.

After that you have to enter the passkey of your canon printer and after that, your Canon printer is able to work on Bluetooth.
