Click on the Run button, if prompted.
Wait till the software file gets extracted.
Make sure to click on the Yes button if a pop-up prompted by the User Account Control.
Don't forget to accept the Terms and Conditions and wait till the completion of the installation process.
Open it, click on the Start button, and select your HP Printer.
If your HP Printer is not available in the list, then click on the Retry button.
According to your HP Printer issue, either clicks on the Fix Scanning or Fix Printing button.

Set the HP printer as default
Sometimes, it happens that you send a request to your printer to print something, but it doesn't print because it is neither set as the default printer nor selected to print.
Follow these steps to set your printer as the default printer:
Press the Window + R button on the keyboard simultaneously to open the Run dialog box.
Type Control in the search box, and then click on the OK button.
Select the Devices and Printers option in the Control Panel window.
Right-click on your HP Printer in the Printers section, and then click on the Set as default printer option.
If prompted, click on the Yes button.
A tick will assign below the icon of your HP Printer. It results to mean that your printer is now set as the default printer.
